So I've been taking part of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for the past 3 years (this year is #4) and I'm proud to say that I've won for the past 2 years. After reading my stories from these past 3 years I have definitly seen a change in the way I write, and for an author that's normal. After all even the most famous authors experience the same thing, their writing hasn't always been the way it is today, they had to practice and re-edit multiple times to get where they are now. For me that's great motivation to keep at it.
I think I've started to finally figure out what genre I feel the most comfortable writing, even though I'm trying to alter it by adding in others as well and lets just say its going okay (it has it's ups and downs).
Anyway I figure that's enough of the past. Right now I'm dealing with some writers block which put a real damaging blow to my plan of taking part at Campnanowrimo this year, I don't know if I'll be able to take part in August, but its to early to know that. However I've already started plotting for this November, I'm thinking some kind of Fantasy this year, other than that I haven't got a clue. Oh...wait, that;s not completely true, I created the map I'll use to chart any traveling that my characters might be doing.
